How to set to "do nothing" when I close my laptop lid on Ubuntu 11.04

I am turning my old laptop into a simple desktop. I have Ubuntu 11.04 working on it great, but now I want to do this now. Please help me. I love Ubuntu, but I am new to linux and need help. If you ask me to do something in Windows, I will most likely know how to do it. But not with linux.

    gconf-editor: apps | gnome-power-manager | buttons | lid_ac = "nothing". Nice and convenient!

Click System - Screensaver - Preferences - Power Management - choose "When laptop lid is closed - Blank Screen".

That will blank an external monitor, not the same as do nothing.
