    Aspire All-In-One Desktop Touchscreen

    Hi Everybody,

I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 Beta, and I can't get the touchscreen to work properly. The touchscreen does work but it works more like a trackpad, if I drag my finger across the screen it moves the mouse and if I tap the screen it clicks wherever the mouse is. I was wondering if there was an option I could change to make it work correctly.

    Thanks

have tried this ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1702465 but it didnt work as evtouch is no longer available/workable. But generally their issue is very much like mine. My system is an Aspire Z3731

additionally, is it possible for software to error a usb device like this (touchscreen is USB) that would be persistent after restart?

    thanks
