    Question VIDIOC_S_FMT error 22, Invalid argument

    Hello Everyone,

    I have been trying to use Meboo Messenger for Video chatting from my Ubuntu 10.10 64bit, Kernel 2.6.35, Shockwave Flash 10.3 d162 system with a Logiteck Quickcam Express V-UW21. Because Meboo uses flash I installed Flashcam 1.4.5 since Meboo was not detecting the webcam (cheese detected it fine). According to the instructions for testing the webcam from The Flashcam Project, I get this statement in the terminal:

    $ flashcam
    Scanning devices
    ------
    Found V4L2 Capture device: /dev/video0. pwc/Logitech QuickCam Zoom. Current Size: 640x480 Format: YU12
    Found V4L Video loopback input: /dev/video1
    ------
    Forwarding frames from /dev/video0 to /dev/video1
    Input device: /dev/video0
    VIDIOC_S_FMT error 22, Invalid argument

    Thanks in advance for any help with this situation.

    i am thinking you need to set the sites in the adobe settings manager
    to allow and remember for your cam
    you can do that at the adobe site
