Hotmail Exchange with Evolution in 10.10

    Hey

I 've got an hotmail (live-mail) account, that I'm using on my iPod with Microsoft Exchange.
This is really working fine, so I was very happy when I read, that you can use this feature with Evolution Mail.

Now my Problem is, that the Settings I use on my iPod won't work with Evolution.

I think the Problem is the OWA URL cause whatever I do it can't connect to this Server.

I'll give you the Settings, that work on my iPod:

    E-Mail: xxx@hotmail.de
    Server: m.hotmail.com

    User-Name: xxx@hotmail.de
    Password: xxx

    SSL: ON

Does anybody know the OWA URL of the Hotmail-Server or does every Account have one of it's own?

    Thanks in advance,
    Marlin

    ...........
I believe that the system uses the Activesync protocol that Evolution does not support (yet).

You can try the MAPI plugin but I doubt it would work.

Re: Hotmail Exchange with Evolution in 10.10

It seams to work, I get the same Settigs as on my iPod, but still ...

In my iPod Settings I have to leave the "Domain" part blank. If I do that for MAPI I'll get the Information, that I'd have to fill in every Part of the Form.
I searched google for that Problem/the Domain. As hotmail.de oder hotmail.com wouldn't work as Domain in this case (I tried them)

    Any Ideas?

Same problem here using Ubuntu 11.04

Settings which work on iPhone, doesn't work with Evolution. Evolution keeps asking for my password and says it's wrong.
