Rhythmbox and other music players not loading

Basically my rhythmbox isn't loading.

I've tried also using other music players to load my albums but for some reason it dosn't work.

The the application is fine but when it comes to loading it my computer freezes for awhile then goes back to normal.

Kind of stuck what to do, any ideas?

Honestly, that's all I got.

It seemed to take about a minute to load this information freezing my other applications.

You could try, using Synaptic, completely removing Rythmbox (back up any play-lists, etc., that you may have), and then reinstalling it.
I know it's a little drastic but may solve your problem.

mine was working just fine ; hell i just installed the whole Debian squeeze os. But now it's bugged after i logged in Last-fm and ofcoarse downloading the whole shabbang ; last -fm exit etc ,
I launches from the terminal but i also get ' Cannot connect to server socket err = No such file or directory

I will remove it through synaptic and reinstall it .
me i don't particularly care much for discovering new music , honestly i think music has almost died ; floor this floor that ; pls ; shake me loose ; i have my own cd's & i would'nt mind sharing what I'm listening & all if you can download that than good for you , but i was trying to ask or make the point that with what happened rececntl y to lime wire etc sharing aint quit sharing , you know too many strings attached;
i never got the answer to <Would it become a problem sharingmusic I didnt create>?
I am way to busy trying to keep the turtle on the grass ; ) hahah
