Smooth scroll wheel support

Hey, I've got a Microsoft' Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000, which, on Windows 7, does have smooth scrolling.

Basically, the scroll wheel doesn't have the tiny "lock-ups" between each step, but Ubuntu doesn't get it.

I think this is a great feature, and I'm missing it from this hardware. Does Ubuntu supports it already?

Mine is Trust, I wish to scroll faster, and I can;t find apropiate settimgs in this gnome/ubuntu./

On windows, seems like the scroll scrolls one line only, but depending on the speed of the scroll wheel turn, it'll scroll faster. Seems like to be easy to emulate it, with acceleration and stuff. But I don't know how to do such =(

Not exactly, The mouse is working as it should (actually, if the scroll weren't smooth to roll - this means, had notches between each step - I woldn't be here)

It's more like a feature.. Move the scroll wheel a little bit down, move a line. Move the scroll wheel fast, move many lines down. I've got addicted with this on Windows, it was really nice to read large documents and Twitter.
