Software for text analisy

Hello,

I need a software which allow me seek for letters, words inside a text by adding excptions when needed (ex. I need to find the letter Я alone excluding when it appear as 'Я).

In the same time it will be nice if it could also say me the % of presence of a letter/word on the total of letters/words of the text.

Any suggestion?

I have used TextStat in windows but I understand that it works in Linux (I have not tried it in ubuntu)

I didn't try it on Ubuntu since it also works under Leopard (which is my main system)

I was able to get the list of keywords but as far as i see doesn't give the %...
do u know some other software (more complete which give also % on total words)

you can export frequency list to excel and do some calculations.

But you can search for more comprehensive tool kit here to meet your needs ..
