Hello. Is it possible to run Openbox/Gnome in 10.10? My goal is to change virtual desktops with the mouse scroll wheel. I've installed Openbox, but Openbox/Gnome will not work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

try running openbox --replace when you're in the normal gnome session
if it works, you can add it to your startup applications

Thanks ~Plue: Not doing it. Still looking! I can now, after removing compiz in synaptic, change virtual desktops using the mouse wheel when hovering the cursor over the pager in the taskbar. Progress!

Tutorial Obiwan?
Thanks wojox, that did the trick. Now I choose Gnome/Openbox and it works. It's a small thing really, but something I've become comfortable with. Thanks again!
Whoops. Now the CPU is running away. gconfd-2 4.01%/firefox-bin 3.38%/dbus-daemon 3.14%. Hmmm... On the whole, sitting at between 48 and 55% always.

Any idea what might be causing this, and what might be a solution?
