I'm running ubuntu natty on my lappy. Has been pretty stable so far, only issue I've seen is the icons not displaying correctly on the notification area.

Yeah, I'm running the classic version, too. The 'new improved' unity is not my cup o' tea.

I tried and tried Unity and it just was not for me.
Also tried Gnome 3, again not for me.

I run ubuntu on hp mini wifi and it goes well and does not set the style naty slow but I do not like traditional desktop gnome greetings prefer the fact that Windows runs better starter
