[KDE] How do I install mplayer?

Hi, I'm new to debian-based Linux systems, and I have got a problem. I'd like to install *mplayer to my Kubuntu 10.10, but I don't know how. Is there an installation package or something?
sudo apt-get install mplayer (or kmplayer) gives me: E: Unable to locate package mplayer (or kmplayer).

    Please can you help me?
    Thanks in advance

    P.S. Internet connection works...

edit: So, I worked it out: I had to manually add resources where to download packages from in KPackageKit Settings (I didn't literally add them, just ticked the box to include 'archive.ubuntu.com')
