    Installation

    Hi,

    I builded my own PC, but i wonder if i can install ubunti on it. It doesn't have window or any other operation system on it.

    Try to boot an ubuntu CD and then use Gparted to format your drive. Then install

    Ok i will try. Just to make clear, i only have BIOS on this computer, nothing else. So i boot the pc with the ubuntu CD in the driver and then it will work?

    well it won't boot if you don't even have RAM. if you have ram then you can boot ubuntu live CD or usb.. usb is good opion if you want to save some work...

    Well i have a full pc (Mobo, Ram, graphical card, hard drive, dvd drive, in short everything ) It was cheaper to assemble myself, so i did it. I will try to boot with ubuntu, usb or cd!

    Remember to change the boot order in BIOS first, so that it boots from either the cd/dvd driver or from the USB stick before hard drive.
