Need help finding a small Linux distro

Hey guys... I was hoping some of you know of some good small Linux distros. My computer specs aren't really the issue (aside from my wireless card), but I have very limited space to work with. The distro must be able to run off of a 100MB USB drive.

I have tried TinyCore Linux, Slax, DSL, SliTaz, and re-mastered versions of Puppy, but I've had great difficulty getting my wireless card to work with these. Recently, I was able to test Lucid Puppy... my wireless worked fine, but it is too large for my USB drive.

Actually... would anyone happen to have a copy of TinyCore Linux with wicd pre-installed? I suppose I could try and see if that works.

I was really hoping you guys might know of another distribution, though. More recent distros seem to work best with my wireless card.

All I would really like to use it for is to browse the web.

    Thanks!

Why not get a new USB card? they are really cheap.
I got two 4GB sticks for 14 EUR.

You can get 2GB disk for about 8 EUR maybe even less in some countries. And perahps you might catch some old stock of 1GB one.

Anyway 1 or 2 GB is really good enough for most distroy these days. 2GB one will also offer you quite a bit of space for data or to make a good persistent USB drive.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?

    Yeah... I suppose you're right.

I'll still look in the meantime before I get around to buying a new USB drive.

I'm just afraid of ruining a new one because I'll have it running quite often.

Check out Puppy Linux and Damn Small Linux (I know DSL was ~50MB at one point, not sure now though)

I think DSL is still available for download but the project has been dead for several years. DSL has a very old kernel and I suspect that getting wireless working would be a real problem. When I played with it I found printing to be a mess too.

    Puppy is a lot friendlier.
