Advance uploader on Youtube does not recognize java

i am using google chrome 10.0.648.204 on my Ubuntu 10.10

now, Workspace 1_004.jpg this screenshot says that i do not have java installed or enabled to use the advanced resumable uploader on youtube

but, Workspace 1_003.jpg this screenshot says that i have the latest java installed.

what's the catch here???

I also have the same problem. Using Ubuntu 10.10 and Google Chrome. I have the latest version of Sun Java 6 with update 24 installed. Any ideas?
