Add panel to dual monitor in 10.10

I have a dual monitor setup in 10.10, which acts as an extended workspace.

In previous versions of ubuntu, I could move panels around by grabbing them and moving them to the area within the second monitor.

In 10.10, I cannot seem to do that.

How do I create panels in this extended workspace on the second monitor?

Figured this out after clicking around a LOT.

First, had to disable the "expand" option within the panel options.

Then, I could move the panel anywhere (finally) by clicking a vacated spot and dragging it over.

Then, I had to add a Window List object.

Finally got it, but wow.... not exactly intuitive/easy.

Re: Add panel to dual monitor in 10.10

Im working on 10.04 lts and have two screens of which one is an extended Desktop.
Everytime I would open a program on my extended screen, I had to use ALT + TAB to get to the program, it wouldn't appear in my panel.

By creating a "new panel" on my extended screen and disabling the "expand button" and then moving it to my extended screen and adding the windows list object to this panel,
I now have a panel on my extended screen which shows me my active programs.

    very nice
    thnx
