Question Unity & Unity 3D user guide

I am running the alpha of Natty and I am trying to stick to Unity to see if I like it. At the moment I don't. Also because I have no clue on customisation or how to do things.

Thus I googled. "Learn unity", "unity documentation" "unity guide" but not much luck. Neither on Ubuntu sites. Or these forums.

I believe to transition user from the "old" Gnome this is something needed and should be more easily available. Hence this thread, that hopefully will pop-up on the searched and will help people find documentation on unity not for developers but users.

Please add docs and references that you may find useful.

    Thanks

Unity is a plugin for Compiz. Install Compiz-Config-Settings-Manager (CCSM) and you will get all the settings for compiz as well as the new settings for Unity.

Yeah, you are spot on. I have tried get some work done using Ubuntu 11.04 out of the box and still have no idea how you are supposed to keep track of things.

Then I got the tip to install "Docky" and know I am fine. I think.

But the bottom line is that is just stupid to let people get that frustrated.
