At least that's a joke :V /run would be a whole lot better than having numerous .dot directories in dev. This wasn't posted on april fools day either, so don't expect it to be a joke.

Looks like you we can look forward to it in 11.10 If you need somebody who works on Ubuntu for Canonical to support this, I'm happy to be such a person.
