I have a Dell Mini 9 about 2 yrs old, including battery. I'm currently running Ubuntu 10.04 UNR with all the current security updates (I disabled recommended updates, because of all the unnecessary stuff I don't use like cheese and evolution). Recently, I've started seeing some strange battery issues with my comp. On battery power, it discharges EXTREMELY fast, like I only get an hour at best. (on Hardy, I got 3 hrs) Sometimes it takes forever (like 3 hrs) to charge up, sometimes only an hour. Currently, it's stuck at 99%. Ran acpi -V in terminal and got:

Code:
Battery 0: Charging, 99%, charging at zero rate - will never fully charge.
Battery 0: design capacity 3200 mAh, last full capacity 3200 mAh = 100% <-----
Adapter 0: on-line
Thermal 0: ok, 46.0 degrees C
Thermal 0: trip point 0 switches to mode critical at temperature 102.0 degrees C
Thermal 0: trip point 1 switches to mode passive at temperature 95.0 degrees C
Cooling 0: LCD 0 of 15
Cooling 1: Processor 0 of 10
Cooling 2: Processor 0 of 10
Will never fully charge? What? Just a day ago it WAS fully charged. Something wiggy is going on with my system. I was worried it was the battery, but all the varying readings make me now think it's a Ubuntu problem. If it makes a difference, I didn't really notice this problem until recently (last month or so).

If anyone knows what might be wrong, ANY help will be greatly appreciated.
