Unhappy Can't get my IPod touch 4th gen to work

I'm having some trouble trying to get my iPod Touch 4th Gen (os 4.2.1) to work with ubuntu 10.10. Whenever I plug it it says:

    Code:
    Could not display "gphoto2://[usb:001,003]/".
Error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.207 was not provided by any .service files
Please select another viewer and try again.
I tried Banshee, Rhythmbox or even Nautilus to open the files but no success. Opening it in Nautilus just shows me an empty DCIM folder even though the device is almost full of music. I also have libmobiledevice1 lib installed (I guess it comes by default with 10.10)

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm having the exact same problem. Rhythmbox tries to open it and the iPod makes a series of loud chirping sounds. It doesn't play with nautilus either, as you mentioned. :/ Can anyone help?

Eff. My walled garden is broken again.
