I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
The only way to revert to 10.10 or 10.04 is to do a complete re-install. If you want to help with testing, most of us use a dedicated partition for it, with the current release as a backup in case things go wrong. The first beta will be released on March 31st.
Oh wehn ever i get a messege in Amsn I loose my gui visibility
The reason i want to revert is cause Im not experienced enough for all these bugs And will leave the alpha testing for the more experienced developers
I remember my best friend telling me you can revert your Kernels Or what ever back to the other system i just cant remember the terminal code to do it
Sorry if i sound like im trolling or anything I really hate windows and really need do need to revert with out installing ontop of (cause i really dont think its good for a cpu to constantly be doing clean installs all the time lol)
ok Ubuntu 10.10 reinstalled im dual booting with both so for now until nattys official release date I continue with the alpha on a different partition
good, then mark the thread SOLVED.
sometimes its our mistakes that make our biggest achievements.
Yikes!!! I have to reinstall again then
This is the buggies beta so far by ubuntu, but I hope they have good things in store. Go Ubuntu!
