I have two Linux work stations on my home network. One is Ubuntu 10.04 and the other is SUSE 11.4. They both use Gnome. Now when I enter
smb://ipaddress
in Firefox on Ubuntu, I am able to access my samba share withough any problem, but if I try this on SUSE I get an error message saying Firefox does not know how to handle smb protocol.

I then type in Ubuntu Firefox
about:config
and looked at the the network protocol handlers I do not see anything about smb so Firefox is handling smb some other way. I just have not been able to figure out how yet or I have installed some software that set it up to do so, but if so I don't know what that would be.
