Looks legit to me ... Normally if it is spam/phishing, they "lie" about the links, so it says www.something.com and links to www.not-that-something.com

I seriously doubt System76 sent this message. Not only does it not look legitimate, it seems to be a clear case of spoofing. Did you check the message headers? Did you contact System76 directly to find out if they sent it? Posting a copy of a spoofed spam message in this forum with active spam links is a bigger problem than that email message itself.

And in either case, system76 should know they are being impersonated... Posting links that are clearly labeled as phishing sites is harmful? And yes I am waiting a reply from system76...

The links are clearly labeled as such, and are there so someone can figure out why my information system76 has was given away. Again, what are the sheer chances it's just some random spam email?

Not everyone who comes here runs Linux. I lurked in this Forum for quite a while on my Windows machine to determine if System76 was a good company and sold good hardware before deciding to purchase. In addition, I send friends here, many of whom still run Windows, to see how good System76 is before they purchase and move to Linux.

I believe the sites are not legitimate. I also believe that System76 did NOT send you the message. You have done nothing to show that the message actually came from System76.
