I think this is good for both Android and RIM.
Hopefully soon Ubuntu will have an easy way to run and download Android Apps too.

RIM is trying to hold on to fleeing market share. I think RIM makes a great product and know many people who love them, including me, but I this product is little too late in a field of product that only seem to make the Apple products look superior time and time again. No one is challenging Apple it all poor knockoffs in comparison. And this is coming from someone who loves Android and will not buy another apple product if i can help it.
