Opera menu apperance problems

I've just installed Opera 11. I like this browser very much, but there is a problem with the menus in Opera (they don't use GTK or QT). The problem for that is that it doesn't look good at my desktop at all, and it is practically unusable. One other strange thing is that the menu's don't always have the same color (see the included image).

Does anyone know a way to fix this?

Sorry, I don't know how to fix the one you have, but Opera is in the repositories in synaptic, it may even be in software center & will be better supported.

In my case opera copies the GTK theme very well. Check with other themes just to see what happens . I don't like to suggest reinstalling a program because of a problem , but I can't think of any thing else to try. I would also suggest installing the opera configuator extension for accessing detailed settings.

Hmmm, this definitely shouldn't be happening. As others had already said, try changing the skin first and reinstalling second (deleting ~/.opera is necessary, otherwise, reinstall is unlikely to help). If nothing helps, make sure you submit a bug report, and hope if gets fixed soon.

Are you using the Orta theme?
If so, there is a fix in the orta settings manager

Thanks, it was indeed the problem of the Orta theme (stupid mistake of me).
