Haveing trouble burning ISO to disk

I got a Windows 7 ISO and i am trying to burn it to a disk. When I try to burn it to a disk using Brasero, I get the error message: "Please replace the disk with a supported CD or DVD."

The disk is blank and is big enough to hold it. What should I do?

I have two disks by of the same brank and I get the error message for both. I don't have any other brand of disk right now.

What do you mean which way? I have opened it with Brasero and tried and i have right clicked the ISO and click "burn to disk", if that whats your asking.

    Hi,

CDBurnerXP is a free application to burn CDs and DVDs, including Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs. It also includes the feature to burn and create ISOs, as well as a multilanguage interface. Everyone, even companies, can use it for free. It does not include adware or similar malicious components.

What type of disc is it? Cd-r, cd-rw etc
You could try installing the dvd+rw package in synaptic package manager. I don't know if it will have any bearing at all.

I think CDBurnerXP runs only in Windows, not Linux.

I am hoping that this Win 7 ISO is legal, not something downloaded from some site on the internet.
