how do you sync music w/ ipad with iOS 4.3 with maverick?

It shows up in my music players I can transfer music to my ipad but when I open the ipod app it the music is not there.

anyone know how I can make this work?

Yes.. I am dealing with the same problem with my 3G iPod touch running iOS 4.3.

I could sync perfectly when I was using iOS 4.2, but after the upgrade, although my iPod will mount and show up in banshee/rhythmbox, even allow me to drag and drop music onto it, the songs will not stay synced.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Same problem here. iOS 4.2.1, Ubuntu 11.04.

Songs appear to have copied over from Rhythmbox, but are not available from within "iPod" app on iPad.
