GLX and Battery life issues on Lemur

    Hi Folks,

my System76 Lemur laptop has some issues with

    (1) GLX

    Code:
    name of display: :0.0
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
However, I installed all xorg/xlib packages. But apparently I missed something.

    (2) Battery life is terrifically low (1h30 when surfing Internet).

Is there anything I should do to improve this battery life?

    Thanks for any feedbacks.

    A.

Regrettably, i get close to that battery life on Arch Linux, so I'm not sure there's a whole bunch to be done for that one - though I hope there is, that would be pleasant.

I Just ordered a Lemur early today and didn't see the battery life advertised anywhere in the ordering process. Recently I read a review of the Lemur that talked about the poor battery life. I guess I didn't expect great performance but I think 1-2 hours is just a little bit crazy.

Maybe it would be worth it spend a few extra hundo for a macbook air, but for 1-2 hours of batter life it seems like the laptop isn't useful for more than sitting around the house. Who takes a plane trip without an hour of time in the terminal and a few hours in flight.

Apparently a macbook air running arch linux can go 5-6 hours. Maybe I should consider canceling.

If the baterry life is a big issue, then yes, you should cancel.

    I love my Lemur, however.
