    Ubuntu in new language

    Is it possible to develop a ubuntu operating system with a new local language? This language is not available in the list but uses the script of already available language namely Hindi & Marathi . Kindly advice me how do I go about it?

    Hindi and Marathi teams already exist, so please contact them.

    If yours is a separate language and you can justify it is, you can always create a new translation team and request its addition to the Ubuntu Translators group. This is the first requirement for adding new languages to the distro.
