Webcam Internal Mic causes Desynchronization

Greetings, I'm trying to figure out how to solve the following issue with my webcam.

My webcam is a Microsoft Lifecam Cinema.

While I can record video without any problems, when I try to record audio along with the video using the webcam's internal microphone the audio goes out of sync with the video. This happens when using guvcview. When attempting to use Cheese Webcam Booth to record video and audio in the same manner, Cheese locks up and crashes. I haven't had any success in finding information about this particular bug and was wondering if anyone had any information or a solution to this problem.

I'm going to try to the Irc channel in the meantime.

I'm having the same problem, regardless of what microphone I use. Cheese Webcam booth records videos, but the audio is out of sync! Did you ever find a solution?
