headphone output don't work properly!!!

hi all,

right my headphone port on my Acer Aspire one A075h....works but so dose my speakers at the same time!!!

how can i get my headphones to work without my speakers on my comp working at the same time!

i havn't tried the mic input yet but im thinking that wont work either!!

im using pulseaudio volume control too!!!

is there software to download to sort this out?

hi all,

right the thing is i plug my headphones in and the sound works fine but at the same time the speakers on the comp work also!!!

is there away to stop this from happening....i.e when i plug my headphones in the speakers dont play sound and it comes thru my headphones instead!?
