    Sorry for the late reply.

I got my laptop Tuesday evening!

Been spending what time I have to transfer all my data, install tools(I'm a systems consultant/Programmer). Configured how I like it. basically duplicate what I have on my current work machine.

I really can't tell how fast it will be, though it looks to be significantly faster than my current dual core. the extra memory and hd space will be most appreciated! Especially by the 3 vm's I run in VirtualBox. I'm duplicating those vdi's as I type. That one task brings my current machine to almost a standstill.

I love the fingerprint reader. I know it seems like more of a toy but its amazing how much time I save not having to type in my password when doing sudo type stuff. Just swipe my finger and were off to the races!

Getting use to a different keyboard, my current machine is a Dell Inspiron, And my previous was an Inspiron. So I was pretty used to those machines.

    Have fun,

    Scott
