I have Lenovo Ideapad v460. I cant get working fingerprint scanner. I have tried Fingerprint GUI but my scanner was not listed there. I guess there are no drivers for mine. How to solve this?

Do you know what model of fingerprint scanner is in the notebook? If lsusb reports that you have a Upek scanner, you'll need to install the libbsapi library.
I have a full guide, plus a link to my source material for fixing this very problem on my blog. I was specifically working with the Thinkpad X201, but if you have the same fingerprint reader, you might benefit.sudo apt-get install libbsapi
