install desktop gadget

I downloaded the tar and extracted it but I have no idea what to do...

First you need to install gDesklets from the software center if not already installed . Then open Desklets from accessories . and look for an install or import button. Migrate to the folder where the package is stored and open it . I have not used Desklets in along time , so I don't know if drag and drop will work.

Deslets were always buggy for me , so I did not use them for long . Screenlets offer similar widgets as well.

I would attempt to drag and drop the package then . I will install it again and take a look the website is not helpful.

I was able to install the program , but It fails to open . Seems gDesklets are still buggy on my hardware .

Double check the file and Profiles tab for any possible installation options.
