Currently running Natty, latest updates. I have Maverick on a separate partition, haven't tried much but had similar trouble without proprietary drivers recently. Audio works flawlessly through HDMI, and the TV detects signal, and changing the resolution in display and monitor settings changes on the TV properly. Previously (when proprietary drivers worked) everything worked fine. I'm now using the open source drivers (I will note that they actually worked smoother for HDMI in previous versions of Ubuntu than proprietary) and the screen is black and I haven't been able to get anything to display. Nothing shows up when dragging windows over when the desktop is spanned, and it also stays black when in clone mode.

Any ideas?
