Xvid plug in for Mozilla required

Hello,

I am trying to play in my browser a video which requires the Xvid codecs.

A message is inside the online player saying, "Download and install the Xvid codecs"

and then when trying to press the play button on the online player I get the error:

We're sorry, our content is not compatible with your computer configuration.

I have VLC installed with all updated supporting repositories including, "Ubuntu-unrestricted-Extras"

Does anyone have a solution please?

Try installing gecko-mediaplayer plugin for firefox.
