How do I fix my boot loader?

I installed linux first on the second partition on my Powerbook G4, then installed OSX on the first partition. As a result, the Apple OS automatically boots.

I can press <option> at bootup and choose the Linux OS from the boot list, but I would rather have it default to the Linux OS. Any suggestions how to fix this?

I believe you have to edit the yaboot configuration file.

Have a look at the PowerPC FAQs here:
