Tethered shooting with Entangled

For those who aren't aware, you can get good tethered shooting functionality at the command line using the gphoto2 package. For a broad range of supported cameras you can capture a frame and download it to the current directory with the command

gphoto2 --capture-image-and-download

To shoot a time-lapse with a frame every 45 seconds use

gphoto2 --capture-image-and-download --interval 45

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install entangle

There's package for Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric (64/32bit) so far.

BUT, this morning's entangle update won't install, conflict with, I believe, shotwell as I recall from the error message.

Indeed... Fix should be available in PPA in two/three hours. ('gschemas.compiled' overwrite curse).

Just updated entangle. It was error free!
