I updated flashplugin-nonfree to 10.2 today and now there is no sound in Chromium when playing e.g. youtube videos. The sound does work in Opera on the same videos. Aboutlugins shows "Shockwave Flash 10.2 r152" in both browsers. What has happened?

After updating my desktop machine this morning anytime I go to a site that requires Flash, the plugin actually crashes in Chromium, but works fine in Chrome. I did save the bug report and will be sending it once I get home, if it has not already been reported.

flash is the biggest pain in the butt on linux. i swear i spend more time trying to get it to work right. even more so on 64 bit platform

It's actually working for me now, it self healed over night.
