    Replacing Power Supply

I've looked everywhere and can't find the power supply for my Starling. I can go to the computer store tomorrow to buy one, but I don't have a clue of what to ask for.

Short of taking the whole computer in, can someone tell me what model/type/rating [whatever I need to know] I should ask for? If it makes any difference, I'll probably just go to my local Fry's.

    TIA

    Re: Replacing Power Supply

    Hi Mark.

You'll want to get a power supply that provides 19 V at at least 1.58 Amps. It's also negative on the outside, and the default power supply is grounded.

As for the plug, it is probably best just to take the computer into the shop with you and test fit a few to find one that works. It is possible to find out what the exact dimensions are, but it may not be until next week that I can.
