    Cannot detect ad2p bluetooth headphones

I've got some MM 100 Sennheisser headphones that neither Blueman nor the default Ubuntu bluetooth daemon can detect. I installed all of the bluez stuff, pulsaudio-plugin-bluetooth, and bluetooth. I've installed everything that sounded relevant and lots of things that didn't and there's still 0 response.

    For gods sake, help me.

Me three ... these headphones work great with bluetooth from my phone
Bluetooth from my ubuntu also works fine with my other devices
but ubuntu + mm100 doesn't work - i get a connection, but the sound quality is really lo-fi and skipping/jerking every second
