    ATI Radeon 4670 Compatibility

Hello, I am thinking of building a comp from scratch with this graphics card:Newegg.com - HIS H467QR1GH Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Are there drivers that work well in Ubuntu?
If not, could someone please suggest a similar card in the same performance and price range?

I Don't care if it's ATI or Nvidia

    Thanks, Catlover

It looks like your card of choice is a hit on Linux and especially Ubuntu:

Here's the link to check whatever other hardware you might be considering:

I personally think the Nvidia drivers and configuration tools work a little better. I do have Radeon on my laptop though.

    Hope that helps.

I have done a search, and have not found a Nvidia card that seems simular to the ati HIS hd 4670 1 gb I am using a 6200 now, and a lot of video, just doesn't work so well.
the machine is a P4, I think 2.6 with a meg of ram. I am debating a vidio card, or bitting the bullet, and build a faster machine...of course the HIS card is going for less than $100. so that would be the cheapest route....is there a Nvidia offering that has HDMI also? or is the ATI only...

thanks to anyone that takes time opinion....Bob
