    Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows Ubuntu wont boot

    Help I installed ubuntu 10.10 alongside my current Windows 7 x64 OS and it wont boot. I resized my partition in windows and gave ubuntu then installed ubuntu in that partition but my computer booted straight to windows. I installed grub but just got the command-lin. How can I get the boot menu. I finally got Windows to boot up again.

    Welcome to the Ubuntu forums.

    The best way for us to help is to see the status of the Ubuntu and Windows boot files. If you can boot to the Ubuntu installation/LiveCD Desktop, go to the following site and download/run the boot info script. Then post the contents of the generated RESULTS.txt file.

    When you paste the contents, click the # icon in the post's menu, which will generate 'code' tags, and paste between them.
