On 10.10 Ubuntu everyting is great except I can't seem to be able to access any data I have on a few DVD+R discs. The drive is mounted (checked in terminal and Disk Utility), the disks are being read in Windows but not in either of my Ubuntu boxes. One is Dell laptop running Ubuntu only, the other Dell desktop running dual boot Windows 7 pro and Ubuntu.
The funny thing is that 2 of the 5 discs work the rest do not. All work in Windows. I have searched and searched all over every forum but nothing. Any idea? The discs start spinning, the light on the drives flash but then they stop. Nothing.
