Problems with both audio and video streams

For more than a week I have begun having problems with both audio snd video streams. When I do get an audio podcast running, e.g., it will sometime quit after a second or three. Sometimes it will play for ten minutes before being dropped. Same with youtube streams and things I try to watch from public TV. I have the same problems even running with a very slow 32kbps audio stream, and at all hours.

I just finished testing my DSL connection and it should be adequate. I have 1.31Mb/sec down and 0.70Mb/sec upload.

I am totally out of ideas....

I solved the problem by hitting the reset on my modem/router. Resetting [AKA "rebooting"], resets everything to the factory defaults; it also cleans out whatever gunks up the flow, altho I have no idea how. At any rate, this might help others on this forum who notice that they are have troubles connecting to websites.
