Yes, I hope so
For natty you still need the acpicall-dkms_0.1_all.deb and the acpitools_0.3_all.deb package from above

Thank you mtron, it works!!! XD
Hi all.
I just updated my first message.
Cheers all.
yes, the spin-down problems of the Western Digital HDD seems to be fixed, also the special grub settings and newer alsa drivers are not needed any more.
Great news is that the open source driver for the Broadcom BCM4313 Wlan chip is now shipped with the kernel so you don't need the binary blob any more. (Just ignore that ubuntu still offers the Binary blob via restricted drivers manager... this seems to be a bug)
jupiter is still needed for the CPU preformance mode toggle and multitoch is still disabled per default.
Unfortunatly Bluetooth is still very fragile ( i think this can only be fixed by asus with a bios update) and the Hardware button on the left top to switch cpu power mode and toggle bluetooth and wlan still does nothing (and does not produce any kernel output at all).
And the worst problem: the kernel power bug in natty cuts down the run time on battery drastically
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ux/+bug/760131
on maverick i got 6 hours runtime. on natty my eee dies after max. 4 hours (both with intel vga) so if you need long runtime on battery don't upgrade to natty just now.
cheers

ion draws more power from the battery. so you won't even get up to 4 hours on natty
What i ment was:
Runtime on maverick with a full battery charge and Intel GPU: 6h
Runtime on maverick with a full battery charge and Nvidia GPU: 4h
Runtime on natty with a full battery charge and Intel GPU: 4h
Runtime on natty with a full battery charge and Nvidia GPU: <not tested>
