    Sierra Wireless MC5720

    I have a Sierra Wireless MC5720 cell card and is not working in Ubuntu 10.04. The strange thing is I have a dual boot drive with Windows and Ubuntu 10.04 that it does work with. I initially activated it in windows and then booted to Ubuntu and it worked fine.

    Then I took a fresh hard drive and loaded Ubuntu 10.04 and though it detects the card, it will not connect to the Verizon service though it does try. I went through the same steps I did before, but it just won't connect.

    One thing I did notice is that the ppp0 modem interface is not coming up.

    Any help would be appreciated.
