Question Pidgin (ICQ) How do I block Spam?

I use ICQ over Pidgin. I have to leave my settings open enough so that someone can at least request authorization to speak with me because I do business with a pool of 10,000 people who might potentially contact me. However every day I get ten messages from people I don't know spamming me. In 99% of cases all the messages have non-English character sets. Does anyone know of a way to block this kind of spam? Perhaps just some way to block any message which contains non-English characters from people not oen my buddy list would be a good compromise as well. Thanks in advance!

Well bot sentry is quite old and there's no deb on the sf site. Maybe privacy please is a better option. The links to both go below:
