Update from Forum Administration on performance issues

We have been in constant contact with Canonical's support services and we received some wonderful news today.

After much troubleshooting late last week and over the weekend, we've
determined that the forums load has been slowly increasing for quite
some time now, and we've reached a tipping point. At daily peak load
times the middle-end application servers are getting heavily loaded and
becoming extremely slow to respond - it really is a resource issue at
this point.

<name removed> has ordered two new servers to replace these aging
middle-ends. This should buy us quite a bit of breathing room.

We will urgently prioritize the installation of and migration to these
new servers as soon as they arrive.

We don't have a specific ETA, but we can expect the issue to be cleared up as soon as the new equipment arrives and can be set up.
