"Save Link As" ALT+Left Click revisited

hello i would like to address an issue mentioned in this thread, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1621434 , about alt+click to save images.

my windows using friend does it all the time because it is useful for websites like 4chan.

any steps/tutorial to setup a macro? setup browser keys or extensions for firefox or chrome? Any ideas?

Wright a java applet to do this, or a firefox extension if you just want to use firefox.

thanks for the quick reply and answer, but i am not a coder, i already tried a chrome extension called imacros but no succes. any other ideas or help?

SOLVED myself

for anyone else interested, u need to disable alt-click from dragging windows in order to use alt - click to save image links



system->preferences->windows

I changed it to the windows key (aka super key)
