just wondering.
They are exactly the same as most people on distro forums who are biased to the particular flavour of system that they use.
It is human nature to be bigoted it would seem. Though not all of us succumb to the weakness.
I still maintain the point that designing a monolithic kernel in 1991 is a fundamental error. Be thankful you are not my student. You would not get a high grade for such a design (Andrew Tanenbaum to Linus Torvalds)
People don't like people that like things that they don't like. Similarly, people don't like people that don't like things they like.
Jealousy?
Possibly fear of the unkown?
Why most people on ubuntu forums don't like windows or mac?
I would say on the side of biased open source users is that they need to feel what use is better somehow than other distributions/projects. With disliking Windows/Mac it is sort of a euphoric open source patriotism, and eventually you grow out of it.
