    Question Xrandr messes up display

    Whenever i run this command...
    xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1024x768
It messes up my displays and i cant fix it without restarting or restarting X
Even after it is still on the same resolution. I have tried the graphical interface but it is completely frozen on 1366x768
I have attached images of the screens when this happens
    I am on a T43 running Xu/Ku/u/buntu (i use them all) 10.10 and a CRT monitor that i know supports 1024x768 resolution
    Please help
